consistency:steadfast adherence to the same principles, course, form, etc..

MAN! Have I developed, grown and learned A LOT over the last 5-6 months. Probably the biggest lesson I have put in effect is CONSISTENCY. I mean I really didn't even understand this concept before, like really get it. It was all from practicing it and reading a little book called the Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.

“Small disciplines repeated with consistency every day lead to great achievements gained slowly over time.”
― John C. Maxwell

April 2014 was the FIRST time that I set out to be consistent with my life. You never realize how daunting that can be. It sounds easy right? Just do the same thing over and over again....WRONG. It was really hard.
I set out to...

1.) Grow and pursue a business that REQUIRED me to be consistent every single day with the same exact practices.
2.) Work out every day, well one rest day.
3.) Read a few pages from my personal development book each day, which ironically I started with The Compound Effect.
4.) Spend time with the Lord.
5.) Drink Shakeology and stay consistent with healthy eating.

So I didn't execute ANY of them perfectly BUT I really really tried. When I did, I noticed that everything flourished or grew over time. When I was consistent with daily practices, my business grows. When I work out everyday, I see results. When I read from Personal Development I grow in knowledge. When I spend time with the Lord, I grow spiritually. When my nutrition is on point, I feel better and look better.

I think the newest consistent practice was growing a business. I because a Beachbody coach and that meant a lot of things but first and foremost it meant that I wanted to help people and make this opportunity work for our family! It is not an easy business BUT it is very simple. You practice key practices each day and your business will grow. It's really hard to see at first but it happens.

I can't wait to see how my consistent practices over time will GROW and GROW! In a year, 3 years and 10 years. Can you imagine??? I think it will be mind blowing.
