21 Day Fix and EXTREME Approved Turkey Chili

I will be honest, I am not a very awesome meal prepper BUT I have learned some tools and tricks along the way that make it easier and more manageable for me. 
This chili being one of them. I can make quite a bit and its hearty, healthy and yummy. 
Just portioning out some HIS  & HER  chili for the week.

1 CUP = 1 RED, 1 YELLOW, 1 GREEN

RECIPE:

Ingredients:

-1.5 pounds ground turkey
-1 tsp olive oil
-1 onion, diced (or onion powder for substitution) 
-1 green pepper, diced (optional) 
-3 cloves of garlic, minced 
-1.5 tsp cumin
-2 tbsp chili powder
-1/2 tsp sea salt
-1 tsp cayenne pepper
-1 tsp red pepper flakes
-2 15oz cans black beans, rinsed and drained
-1 15oz can diced tomatoes with liquid 
-1 15oz can of tomato sauce (optional, if you like it more soupier-<--is that a word??) 

What To DO: 

1. Brown turkey, onion, green pepper and garlic in a large sauce pan until turkey is no longer pink. 

Option #1: Add remainder of items and turkey mixture above to a crockpot and let cook for 4 hours on high. <-------More flavor to it!

Option #2: Add remainder of items to sauce pan and mix in and cover and let simmer for 20 minutes. 

Lastly! Top with one container of cheddar cheese or 1 BLUE and ENJOY!!
